Yes...the great golf superstar, who has been recently involved in a myriad of controversies. First he plowed his car into a fire hydrant in Orlando and later admitted to a number of extra marital affairs. Those scandals may not have stripped him off his golf trophies but it did put all his advertising contracts from top brands in jeopardy. Gillette is not continuing Tiger Woods’ endorsement and neither will Tag Heuer.
Tiger Woods used to be the ambassador for Tag Heuer and promoted the Tag Heuer Golf Watch, the first ever watch created and designed for professional golf players. The watch model was developed by Woods himself. It has a special construction and especially designed with golf players in mind. Luxury Watch Maker Hires New Celebrity Ambassador

A long established Luxury Watch Maker Longines held a press conference with its current celebrity ambassadors, Bollywood movie star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Asian Film Star Chin Ling Lin at the Hilton Cavalieri in Rome on September 8th to announce their newest addition to the watch maker’s celebrity ambassadors. Hollywood Actress Kate Winslet has also been hired as the lastest celebrity ambassador for luxury watch maker Longines.
Kate Winslet was flattered when she was asked to represent the Longines luxury watch brand. At the conference she said, “When you’re invited by a company with the history of Longines, which is so well established and has these great, strong, strident women figures as ambassadors, it’s really an honour to be asked.”
Longines President Wanter von Kanel said about Kate Winslet, “It will come as no surprise that we have chosen the British actress Kate Winslet as our new ambassador. She was an obvious choice and the embodiment of our slogan - ‘Elegance is an attitude’.”
Kate Winslet showed up to the event with a figure hugging black and white full body dress with black peep toe shoes. The British actress is best known for her role in Titanic.

First Watch World Awards 2010 Held in India

Delhi made way for the first Watch World Awards, a ceremony that aims to recognize world watch manufacturers and brand from all over the globe. The event was participated by top CEO’s of known watch brands and watch enthusiasts from all walks of life.
The awards given were under 6 marketing categories and 11 product categories. The announcement of the coveted “Watch of the Year Award” is what the audience and watch makers are all been waiting for the night. The award went to one of the watches displayed during the fair, a luxurious Crore watch.
The Watch World awards was participated by over 100 participants from popular brands. The list was then cut down to 45 and winners were judged by a panel headed by Antoine Simonin, a veteran and master watchmaker of over 5 decades. Other members of the jury were Rohit Bal, Chhaya Momaya, Padmabhushan Michael Ferreira, Sharda Agarwal, and Shripad Nadkarni.
The event was graced by a number of celebrities, socialites and avid watch enthusiasts. The Watch World Awards opened a new door for international brands to consider strengthening the market in India despite of a few obstacles that they may meet along the way including high rentals, high tax duties and the discriminating taste of its market.

Swiss watch maker Longines has hired Actress Kate Winslet as one of its brand ambassadors to promote the new Dolce Vita collection for woman. The collection of various time pieces for women in has various models for people with different price ranges.
Watches in the collection include the Longines Dolce Vita L.5.155.0.84.6 features a Swiss Quartz Analog ETA, with a second hand on a completely separate watch face. The dial markers are made of real diamond which accentuates the baton style steel hands. It is water resistant to up to 30 meters and the size is 30mm by 20 mm.
Another watch in the new brand is the Longines Dolce Vita L5. 158.4.84.6 which also features the Swiss Quartz Analog movement. It has a highly polished curved solid stainless steel case. The hands are steel with the dial markers a white mother of pearl like texture. The band is made of stainless steel with a butterfly clasp with a center opening and spring release with a water resistance up to 25 meters.
The Longines Watch collection for women will sure give its competition a run for their money.

Rolex Watch and Jewellery Theft in Seattle.

A person trusted with taking care of people’s houses has been charged with stealing luxury jewelry and other valuables in the Seattle, WA area. The King County Washing Prosecutors’ Office has stated that 74 year old Vera McCoy stole items including a one thousand five hundred dollar Rolex watch, and a Tiffany & Co ring while working as a maid for her longtime employer of 15 years.

The Bellevue, Washington resident that employed Vera McCoy reported the thefts after she noticed items were missing from her home. According to Bellevue detectives Vera McCoy admitted to the thefts when interviewed by police. While testifying a Bellevue detective told the court “McCoy said she took the jewelry out of (the woman's) safe” and that “McCoy said that she has a gambling problem and she needed money”

According to police reports the combination to the safe was found by Vera McCoy when she was cleaning the
home. She has admitted to stealing from the safe for five years prior to the discovery and arrest. According to the reports the value of everything stolen was three thousand and seventy four dollars.

This is why its important to keep your valuables in a safe and not give out the combination or put it in a place that could be found by people searching your home.

Rolex Black Gold Watch

Rolex has released the worlds first two tone rolex watch. Its called the Black Gold Rolex watch. It is coated using a process called Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) which makes the watch 20 times more scratch resistant. We're constantly striving to take the pre-owned Rolex market to the next level," says Jason Smith, President of Time and Gems. "Our designers have done just that with our 'Black Gold' Rolex watches. There's nothing we cannot do to a Rolex in terms of customizations and by constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible, I believe we've come up with something that's both extremely unique and stunning to look at."
The process called Physical Vapor Deposition sends massive amounts a carbon coating composed of titanium and nitrogen for over 6 hours in a vacuum sealed environment. This coating proved the steel with a physical barrier that reduces the possibility of scratches and increases hardness by up to 20 times the normal.
