Watchmaker TW Steel Has Released the TW Six Two Two (TW 622)
High end and luxury watch maker TW Steel has released the TW Six Two Two just in time for the holiday shopping season to end. The watch offers a large timepiece for more elderly customers and those who have a hard time reading their time pieces. The model is nearly 50 millimeters across the case and has an extremely large dial.
The watch has large numerals on the face of the dial and roman numerals are on the border of the watch face according to pictures released by TW Steel. Two giants hands measure the hour and the minute which laminate for higher efficiency of the watch. According to James Stacey a luxury watch reviewer who reviewed the watch, “"They look very nice and the inclusion of an aviation style leather strap matches up well with the case and overall aesthetic.".
Another very unique feature for the TW Six Two Two from watchmaker TW Steel is the fact that the watch can withstand water of up to a depth of fifty meters according to manufacturers making it ideal for those who love to swim. The watch is available in TW Steels CEO Collection.

Couturier Tarun Tahiliani Launches His Watch Collection
Ace Couturier Tarun Tahiliani launched his watch collection Monday in a collaboration with Timex Group in New Delhi, India. The collection is a very exclusive set of jeweled watched inspired by India woman according to Tahiliani who was launched the line under his own name.
‘The collection is very close to my heart as each timepiece contributes to the beauty and timelessness that is the quintessential Indian woman. Combining opulence with luxury, each timepiece is graceful and unique,’ Tahiliani said in a press statement.
According to Tahiliani he decided to work with with the Timex Group because of its status and technological superiority over its competition. His collection offers fourteen distinct high quality designs with two different sub brands.
VD Wadwha of Timex Group India said the watches will be a great addition to any female’s collection. “Timex is well-known in India for its sporty, fashionable watches and primarily perceived as a men’s brand, though a considerable contribution comes from the women segment. One of our key strategies going forward is to increase our brand connect with the women consumer and no one else understands the Indian woman better than Tarun.”

Former Los Angeles Dodgers Catcher has His Rolex Watch Stolen
Jimmy Campanis the former Los Angeles Dodger who won three World Series rings had his latest ring and a Rolex watch stolen from him. It all happened when he was warming up for a tournament at the Western Hills Golf Course. He placed the ring and his Rolex watch inside a specially made jewelry pouch in his golf bag. While warming up on the golf course’s driving range about ten yards away for just a few minutes someone got into his bag and took the items.
The watch is of particular sentimental value to Campanis who originally gave the watch to his father when they both were awarded the 1981 World Series. The day his father died he took the watch and started wearing it – and has worn it every day from that date. He planned on giving the watch to his son when he passed away. Campanis said he usually keeps the watch on his hand until he tees off, and this time is one of the few times he hasn’t and is upset it got taken.
There were about one hundred forty players at the tournament as well as workers. Police are monitoring local pawn shops and eBay.

In an extremely unusual move by the luxury watch company Hublot Luxury Watches they have hired Formula 1 Chief Bernie Ecclestone to star in an advertisement. 80 year old Ecclestone was severely beaten and received a black eye when he was beaten by still at large muggers who stole jewellery and a personally customized Hublot Luxury watch valued at over three hundred thousand dollars according to news reports. His female companion that was with him at the time who is in her thirties was not injured during the mugging.
Hublut Luxury watches based out of Switzerland was named the official watchmaker of Forumula 1 in March of 2009 and the news story with Bernie Ecclestone presented a great opportunity for the company as he was a former Formula 1 crew chief. At the Fahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race Hublot Luxury watches announced a limited edition watch series with their standard watches in special colors. The Monza edition watch will for example be available in Red Saphire.
